Founded in 2001 by Kim Goebel and her sister, Kris Kalnow, Partners for a Cure Foundation is the non-profit organization responsible for the creation of the Kimmie Cares doll and book. We're dedicated to helping people with all types of cancer. While there are many organizations that fund cancer research, donating money for equipment, new medicines and scientist’s salaries, Partners for a Cure Foundation takes a somewhat different approach. All of the proceeds generated from the sale of the Kimmie Cares doll and book go directly to Partners for a Cure Foundation where it is then distributed not to scientists, but to individuals with cancer who need financial assistance.

We understand the cost of battling cancer is very high. We provide help to people in whatever form it may be needed, from day care services to physician and hospital fees. Partners for a Cure thanks you for donating or buying a Kimmie Cares doll and wants you to know that by your purchase, you too have contributed to the well-being of many others with this disease.
